Enjoy a panoramic drive along the golden sands of Malvarrosa Beach, where you can breathe in the Mediterranean air and hear a few stories about how this seaside stretch became one of Hemingway’s favorite escapes. From there, we’ll pass by our gleaming City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia’s modern icon, with time to stop for photos and a closer look at its incredible design. We will then take a panoramic drive around the city, passing the neoclassic Plaza de Toros (bullring), medieval towers, and the Turia riverbed park.

In the historic center, we usually spend anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your interests and walking speeds. We’ll wander through the Ciutat Vella, our old town, and point out the many iconic and hidden gems here. Every corner holds a layer of history, from medieval plazas to Roman foundations and Gothic spires. Your tour includes entrance to one historic site – most visitors choose the UNESCO-listed La Lonja Silk Exchange, once the Wall Street of the 15th century, or the L’Almoina Archaeological Museum where the Romans founded Valentia in 138 BC. You may want to see Valencia’s beautiful Cathedral, boasting the Holy Grail, climb up a Medieval tower, or even into one of our many art museums. If you prefer a lighter pace, we can simply “peek” into our favorite landmarks together – no rushing, just enjoying.

And of course, we’ll pause for a short break, usually to enjoy horchata and fartons, our beloved local treat (or a similar snack with coffee, if you prefer), either while strolling through the Central Market or during a relaxing stop at a nearby café.
