Valencia Private Tours

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do tours cost?

There are a lot of variables — number of people, vehicle type, time of day, time of year, festival periods, holidays, type of tour, and duration. However, private tours with transport start at around 425€ for a half-day tour for 2 people, to give you an idea.

Do you have group tours that I can join?

No, we’re sorry — all of our tours are exclusively for closed private groups. We do not offer shared or join-in tours, as we believe in providing personalized, flexible experiences just for you and your group.

However, we do host group experiences at our space in Benimaclet, including traditional fan and tile painting, food and wine tastings, and neighborhood tours. Please contact us for availability.

Do you provide private transport?

Yes. Besides our historical center walking tours and bike tours, all of our tours include private transport from small to large groups. We can also arrange private chauffeured transport, whether you’re arriving by cruise ship, staying in the city, or coming from outside Valencia. From comfortable sedans to luxury vans and minibuses, we select the vehicle that best suits your group and style.

Can I customize the tour itinerary?

Yes! We can tailor the tour to match your group’s interests and make it truly memorable.

  • Families: Extra stops, scavenger hunts, park visits, or kid-friendly activities.

  • History buffs: In-depth stories, hidden corners, and fascinating historical details.

  • Architecture lovers: Highlights of iconic buildings, modernist gems, and lesser-known treasures.

  • Nature and animal enthusiasts: Visits to the Valencia Aquarium, Bioparc, or scenic gardens.

  • Food and culture fans: Market stops, local tastings, or artisan workshops.

If there’s something else you’d like to include, just let us know when booking, and we’ll craft a tour that perfectly fits your group’s passions.

Where will the guide meet us?

The meeting point depends on the type of tour you’ve booked:

  • Walking tours: Your guide can meet you anywhere in Valencia’s Old Town that is most convenient for you. A common meeting point we suggest is in front of the Cathedral in Plaza de la Reina.

  • Bike tours: We meet at one of our city-center bike rental shops (we have several convenient locations).

  • Tours with private transport: Your guide will pick you up directly from your hotel, accommodation, or the cruise ship terminal.

If you would like to be picked up from a location outside the city center (such as the airport), a supplementary fee may apply.

When will I receive the guide's contact details?

You will receive your guide’s contact information two days before the tour, so you can reach out if needed and coordinate any last-minute details.

Should I tip my guide? If so, how much?

Tipping in Spain is completely optional and always at your discretion. Unlike in the U.S., tipping is not expected, but it is always appreciated if you feel your guide provided an excellent experience.

If you would like a general guideline, many guests choose to tip approximately:

  • Full-day tours:50–€100 per group

  • Half-day tours:25–€50 per group

  • Short tours (around 2 hours):20–€40 per group

If your experience includes a separate driver, a tip of around 20 for the driver is a thoughtful gesture.

Again, tipping is never required – your enjoyment of the experience is what matters most.

What historical sites are included in the Valencia city tours?

Our Valencia city tours are fully customizable, but some of the historical sites we most often recommend include:

  • La Lonja de la Seda (Silk Exchange)

  • L’Almoina Archaeological Museum

  • Valencia Cathedral, with the option to climb the Miguelete Tower

  • Torres de Serranos

  • Torres de Quart

  • The National Ceramics Museum

Among these, La Lonja and L’Almoina are two of the sites we most highly recommend for understanding Valencia’s history.

If there is another place you would prefer to visit, such as an art museum or a specific monument, just let us know when booking. We’re happy to tailor the tour to your interests!

Do you offer shore tours for cruise passengers?

Absolutely. We offer flexible pickup and return times to match your ship’s schedule.

Is Valencia walkable for seniors or those with limited mobility?

Yes. We adapt all tours to your comfort and needs — including gentler routes and rest stops.

What languages do you speak?

Our team includes guides with native or near-native fluency in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Portuguese, and nearly every major language. We match your tour with the perfect guide for your group.

What is the maximum group size?

No group is too big! We have extensive experience organizing tours and experiences for large groups, including multi-generational family trips, corporate team-building outings, student groups, and private celebrations.

What information do you need about our group before the tour?

When booking, it’s helpful for us to know the ages of all guests, as this allows us to arrange the correct tickets for monuments and museums.

Please also let us know about any special requirements, such as mobility considerations, dietary restrictions, or allergies, so we can tailor the experience to your group’s needs and ensure everyone is comfortable and well taken care of.

We will also ask you to provide a contact phone number (WhatsApp is usually the most convenient) so your guide can reach you easily on the day of the tour if needed.
