We love showing guests the perfect mix of historic grandeur, medieval adventure, and stunning landscapes, and our full-day Valencia and Xàtiva tour does just that. We’ll start the day exploring Valencia, cruising along Malvarrosa Beach and past the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, a real modern icon. Then we’ll wander the historic city center, strolling charming pedestrian streets, elegant plazas, and centuries-old monuments, while sharing the stories that make this Mediterranean city so special. You can choose to dive deeper into a landmark, like the UNESCO-listed La Lonja Silk Exchange or the L’Almoina Roman Archaeological Museum, or take it at a gentler pace with peek stops along the way. Of course, we’ll pause for a little Valencian treat too—refreshing horchata and sweet fartons!
In the afternoon, we leave the city behind and drive through fragrant orange groves and scenic mountain passes to the medieval town of Xàtiva. Perched above the valley, Xàtiva Castle has watched over generations, from Iberians to Romans to medieval kings, and we’ll explore its ancient walls, towers, and breathtaking viewpoints. After soaking in the views, we can enjoy a relaxed coffee or lunch on a terrace overlooking the town and valley below.
Finally, we’ll wander the quiet streets of Xàtiva’s historic center, discovering its plazas, traditional homes, and fascinating stories of noble families and famous historical figures. With private transport, our local guidance, and a thoughtful itinerary, we promise a day full of discovery, beautiful sights, and stories that stick with you long after the tour ends.

It depends on factors such as opening and closing times, tour start and end times, meeting point, walking pace, weather, and most importantly, the preferences of our guests, ensuring you receive the most personalized experience possible.
- Please note that this tour involves some uphill walking/uneven terrain in pedestrianized areas, and we regret that it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
- You can enjoy a relaxed lunch stop in either Valencia or Xàtiva. The price of lunch is not included in the tour cost (to allow for flexibility) and will need to be paid directly to the restaurant on the day. We would be delighted to help organize lunch for you at a local restaurant within your preferred budget. If you like, your guide can accompany you to assist with translating and ordering, or you can meet your guide after your meal has finished.
