Step inside the real Valencia and immerse yourself in a unique cultural experience in the historic neighborhood of Benimaclet. In our beautiful indoor garden space inspired by a traditional huerto valenciano, you’ll learn from a local Valencian artist the fascinating history of the Spanish hand fan and the secret “language of the fan” used as a form of communication in the 18th and 19th century; the original text messaging of Spain!
During this hands-on fan painting workshop in Valencia, you’ll discover traditional patterns, symbols, and colors, and then choose your own design to create a personalized hand-painted fan. Select one of our classic motifs or craft your own pattern on a high-quality blank fan. Spanish guitar music plays softly in the background while you paint, creating an unforgettable atmosphere rooted in local culture.

You will be using acrylic paints so you may want to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy!
- One fan per person with all crafting materials
Price per pax: €35
- Wine tasting: Try 3 regional wines with 3 small snack tastings. Additional 30 minutes, 20€/person.
- Traditional Valencian neighborhood tour: Explore the old village of Benimaclet, now a neighborhood of Valencia with its traditional streets, tiled homes and village-feel. Additional hour, 15€/person.

How Booking Works
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your tour (+VAT when applicable).
The remaining balance is paid on the day of the tour.
We aim to accept all bookings. In the rare case we cannot accommodate your request, you will receive a full refund promptly.
