We’ll start our day with a scenic drive past the striking City of Arts and Sciences before wandering the historic heart of Valencia. You can choose to explore one landmark up close—most guests visit the UNESCO-listed La Lonja Silk Exchange or the L’Almoina Roman Archaeological Museum—or take it a little slower with exterior “peek stops.” And yes, we’ll pause for a little Valencian treat: refreshing horchata and sweet fartons!

Then we’ll head northwest to the hilltop town of Segorbe, capital of the Alto Palancia region. This medieval gem is full of surprises: walk along old town walls, peek into towers like the Executioner and Jail Towers, and explore the peaceful grounds of Sopeña Hill castle. Segorbe’s 13th-century cathedral, the only one in the Province of Castellón, is a must-see, and the panoramic views over the Palancia Valley are simply breathtaking. We can stop for some local treats or lunch here, depending on what you, our guest, prefers.
