We’ll start our day with a scenic drive past the striking City of Arts and Sciences before wandering the historic heart of Valencia. Together, we’ll stroll pedestrian streets, elegant plazas, and centuries-old monuments while sharing the stories that make this city so special. You can choose to explore one landmark up close—most guests visit the UNESCO-listed La Lonja Silk Exchange or the L’Almoina Roman Archaeological Museum—or take it a little slower with exterior “peek stops.” And yes, we’ll pause for a little Valencian treat: refreshing horchata and sweet fartons!
Then we’ll head northwest to the hilltop town of Segorbe, capital of the Alto Palancia region. This medieval gem is full of surprises: walk along old town walls, peek into towers like the Executioner and Jail Towers, and explore the peaceful grounds of Sopeña Hill castle. Segorbe’s 13th-century cathedral, the only one in the Province of Castellón, is a must-see, and the panoramic views over the Palancia Valley are simply breathtaking. We can stop for some local treats or lunch here, depending on what you, our guest, prefers.

- You can enjoy a relaxed lunch stop in either Valencia or Segorbe. The price of lunch is not included in the tour cost (to allow for flexibility) and will need to be paid directly to the restaurant on the day. We would be delighted to help organize lunch for you at a local restaurant within your preferred budget. If you like, your guide can accompany you to assist with translating and ordering, or you can meet your guide after your meal has finished.
