We begin the day in Alicante’s historic center, exploring the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. From the Casco Antiguo (Old Town), with its colorful houses and tranquil plazas, to the stylish Ensanche district and the elegant Explanada de España promenade, you’ll discover where locals live, shop, and unwind. Along the way, we’ll stop into a modern supermarket or local café, walk through residential streets, and soak up the city’s distinctive Mediterranean rhythm – relaxed yet full of life. Your guide will share insights into everyday living, from renting or buying property to schools, healthcare, taxes, and community life.

Midday, we’ll pause for a quick or relaxed lunch, depending on your preference, perhaps at a beachside restaurant where the sound of the waves sets the tone for a conversation about the practicalities and pleasures of life on Spain’s Costa Blanca. It’s the perfect time to reflect on what you’ve seen so far, ask questions, and chat about which areas might best suit your lifestyle.

In the afternoon, we’ll venture beyond the city to explore some of the region’s most sought-after residential areas. Depending on your interests, this could include the tranquil seaside towns of San Juan, Campello, or Arenales del Sol, or the hillside communities just inland that offer more space and serenity while remaining within easy reach of Alicante. Each area has its own personality, some quieter and family-oriented, others buzzing with an international community,  and your guide will help you compare the pros and cons of each.

By the end of the day, you’ll have a well-rounded sense of what life in Alicante really feels like, both in the city and its surrounding areas — the perfect combination of coastal beauty, friendly atmosphere, and modern convenience.
