Explore this quaint town in the mountains with its Moorish and Medieval castle, and Cathedral – just 45 minutes away

Duration: 5 hours
Location: Segorbe
Escape the city and join us for a half-day adventure to quaint Segorbe, a hilltop medieval treasure northwest of Valencia and the heart of the Alto Palancia region, where few visitors to Valencia go. We love this town for its winding streets, historic walls, and panoramic mountain views that stretch across the surrounding valleys.
Together, we’ll explore Segorbe Castle, used throughout the centuries, and now a peaceful park where you can soak in sweeping vistas over the valley below. Wander along sections of the old town walls, spot the surviving Executioner and Jail Towers from the 14th century, and marvel at the 13th-century Segorbe Cathedral, built over a former mosque and the only one in the Province of Castellón. We’ll pause along the way for a coffee or local drink, giving you a moment to relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking scenery of this historic town.
With private transport, a dedicated guide, and a flexible pace, this tour is the perfect way to experience Segorbe’s history, architecture, and stunning landscapes in just a few hours.
