Coronavirus Updates

Updated Feb. 18, 2022

2022 is finally the year for the come back of all travel!

  • ALL travel restrictions have been lifted, as well as nearly all restrictions on restaurants, hotels, bars, etc.
  • La Comunidad Valenciana, or Valencia state has a 90% vaccination rate for 12 year olds and above and is currently now finishing vaccinating all our under 12’s.
  • Spain overall has over 82% vaccinated rate.
  • The current case numbers in Spain do not reflect the low case numbers who are hospitallized or in the ICU’s, which are all doing fine currently.
  • Only vaccinated US citizens are currently allowed into the EU and you will need to show your vaccination cards with ID if you are North American or the EU Vaccine Passport with QR code in nearly all restaurants and some public transport.
  • Valencia Private Tours and Private Spain Tours only used vaccinated guides and follow all health guidelines
  • We are accepting all bookings now and already getting booked for Spring, Summer and Fall!
  • YOU must be responsible for checking travel updates requirements to Spain or if you have any connecting flights through another European country, as it can change and be different for every arrival, departure or transfer city. Currently, if you are vaccinated, you are not required to have a covid test but do have to fill out information for government tracking. However, other countries still do required a rapid antigen or PCR test, even if you just have a short layover.

We comply with all governmental guidelines and this will be updated as that continues to change.

Guide and all guests will wear masks at all times, unless all parties have been vaccinated.

We will ask for proof of vaccination unless you come by flight, as it is required to enter Spain.

Our vehicles will be thouroughly disinfected.

Hand sanitzer will be used upon vehicle entry.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

At Valencia Private Tours, our mission has always been to provide exceptional private tours of Valencia and the surrounding areas. Given the current international crisis, all tours have gone back to pre-pandemic prices. Additionally, our cancellation policy has been amended to reflect the current circumstances. If your trip is delayed or cancelled as a result of COVID-19 or any other force majeure, we will return 100% of your tour deposit (minus any banking costs) or offer you a credit with us to be used in the future up until 24 hours before your tour with us (or within 24 hours for force majeure situations only). No shows will not be reimbursed.

Most airlines are currently offering free flight cancellations and no change fees through the end of 2021, giving you the security you need to book flights worry-free. We recommend confirming cancellation and change policies directly with your airline before purchasing tickets. Valencia Private Tours is not responsible for any international travel costs or third party cancellation fees. However, in the event that your flight is cancelled or your trip is delayed in any way relating to the pandemic, we will happily work with you to reschedule your tour for the future.
